First hull out of the new mold, on her way to 50′

That fall we had the reborn 40′ Willis Beal mold ready, and we decided to lay up the first new Willis Beal hull and top in over 10 years before anyone had bought it, to show that the design hasn’t changed.

The first molding was a success, with a 16″ raised sheer done in the mold. Next she was cut into sections and extended to 50′ by 20′, with the help of Willis Beal himself. She became Paradigm, launched for Matt Merchant in December 2019.
